I appreciate something with substance and while I am always in the mood for a donut or a bagel I prefer to eat.  It’s the day after the 4th of July, everyone is home, nobody went to the office, so today is a day that requires this king to have his feast.  I make the quick 54 step walk to STACKS and find owner Andrew Cohen behind the counter.  Andrew informed me that he was shaking things up with the menu and was trying new things, new additions to the menu.  The great thing about a place like STACKS is that they are already a household name and they have lines out the door already, however they want to make the food better.  That is called doing good business. 

I ordered the french toast. I was informed that a new french toast was going to launch tomorrow 7-6-10.  “It’s got swirls of cinnamon in it and a special drizzled icing all over”.  “You want to give it a try?”  “Um, yeah dude, of course I want to give it a try”. 

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!!  Cinnabon meets french toast x 94573421234 times better.  No need for butter or syrup either.  Just dig in and let the explosive yumminess explode in your mouths.  “I was sitting with my baker who makes our bread and we tried to enhance the french toast in different ways and on the 8th or 9th attempt we came up with this idea”.  If a Pulitzer is available for french toast making then we have found a winner.  For those of you that have gone to Stacks already and have enjoyed the morning fare already, do yourself a favor and cut work tomorrow and say you’re sick.  Go to Stacks, get the new french toast and then post below how good it was and how you likely ordered 2nd’s.

Move over USA, there is a new FRENCH TOAST in America and you can only find it in Hoboken, NJ.
