Crosstown Bus Makes Downtown Residents Happy!
The Hoboken Crosstown Bus is a city sponsored mini bus that only cost $1.00 for each ride and .50 cents for seniors. The bus runs every half hour starting at 7am and stops at 7pm on Monday-Friday. The city used to sponsor this bus back in the David Roberts days but on a different route and time schedule. The new route passes by:
- Hoboken Terminal (PATH)
- W Hotel (Chandelier Room and Zylo)
- Frank Sinatra Park
- Washington Street (at 4th Street)
- O’nieal’s Bar and Grill
- Church Square Park
- Hoboken University Medical Center
- Church Towers
- Gaslight Bar and Grill
- Sky Club on Harrison Street
- All First Street Stores and Bars
- Columbian Arms
- Hoboken City Hall
The bus is extremely easy to track down. Simply stand on the far side of an intersection and wave your hand. Be sure to have correct change because the driver does not have any access to the money.
The Boken uses this crosstown bus frequently and is hoping the new administration continues to add more buses around the mile square city of Hoboken and runs them on the weekends. It is a great addition to the city of Hoboken. Check out the bus schedule below:
Enjoy.
