The Little Grocery, a Hidden Gem
Stopped into Little Grocery this past weekend for a bagel egg and cheese sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by what we discovered.
For such a small place they sure have a lot of good stuff going on here. The Little Grocery has all kinds of wonderful breakfast foods from pastries, muffins, bagels and quite honestly one solid gold egg sandwich. Seriously do yourself a favor, go get yourself a bagel egg and cheese sandwich you’re not going to be disappointed. Come to find out, owner Neamet Elsayed opened Little Grocery in June of 2005! It is truly a shame it took us this long to discover this hidden gem nestled between 2nd and 3rd street on Jefferson.
We can’t speak to the lunch just yet but it does look very good. Overstuffed deli sandwiches, Panini’s all seem to be made to order. Homemade salads, quiches and even French style desserts.
They even do buffet dinners served Thursday through Saturday that have different themes for the week. $17.95 per person and is BYOB, kids under 12 eat for $7.95 the buffet includes entrée, side dishes, salads and fresh Balthazar bread. Check the website www.littlegrocery.com for more details.
