So let’s a take a moment and talk about the beer journey that is going on at the Hoboken Bar and Grill. That’s right they have a beer club that features 60 beers. Membership to the beer club is free, they give you a membership card that has your member number and a sheet that lists all the beers to be initialed by the bar tenders as you complete each beer. When you’re done drinking for the evening hand your sheet back to the bar tender and they keep it on file for when you come back to continue your quest at greatness.

No journey is complete without rewards:

1)      You get 15% off an appetizer any time you come by

2)      Finishing the beer list will give you a 20% discount card for food and appetizers

3)      Finish the list and you will become enshrined on plaque to be displayed by the bar as well as getting a club t-shirt

4)      Every Monday card members can receive $2 dollar domestic drafts all night long

5)      Members are automatically entered into a monthly raffle to win prizes

6)      Members only are invited to beer tastings (additional charge)

7)      Members only are invited to local brewery’s to see the brewing process (availability at the discretion of the brewery)

Needless to say we were impressed, but how about the food? The cheeseburger, grilled chicken sandwich and quesadillas were awesome.

In case you haven’t been here since it was last Mercy Grill, the removed that giant wall that separated the bar from the back room so now the bar warps around making it a great place to watch the game as they have numerous flat screen TV’s all around.

One gripe, the Yankees – Red Sox game was on and there was no sound?? Don’t worry; we will let you make this up to us, after all we have a journey to complete.
